(The foreign material is on or around the carpet fiber) A stain- is foreign material (soil, liquid, etc.) on carpet that is not usually removable by standard cleaning methods.
How long will my carpet take to dry?
We typically try to get your carpets dry to the touch before we leave. drying times typically range from 3 - 6 hours. Drying times can be affected by many factors including weather, humidity, initial soiling level, and airflow. We reccommend leaving your windows open or turning on your air conditioning to help speed up the drying process.
Does steam cleaning carpet make it wear out faster?
Not at all, actually dirt acts as an abrasive when trapped in your carpet or fabrics and should be removed to reduce wear, unfortunately, and ironically, soil will also cause premature removal/abrasion of protectant designed to keep the carpet cleaner longer.
