Happy with purchase
I am surprised at how well this cleaned the carpets. I just figured for the price that I would have to go the carpets twice to get the same results but that was not the case. Only had to go over them once, so I was really impressed at how well the machine worked.
Excellent Machine!
This carpet cleaner is lightweight but powerful to use. We have pets and it worked very well and didn't clog at all with the pet hair. Was easy to clean up and loved the emptying and fill up aspects of the machine. Also liked that you could keep going over the carpet to make sure you got all the liquid out.
Good quality and great price
We've had a hover steam cleaner for over ten years and it has always done a good job. Over the years we've transitioned from carpet to wood floors so it really does not get much use. But when it is needed, it is heavy and always has had a leaking holding tank problem. The Bissell Powerlifter is lightweight and easy to fill & empty.
Hard Little Worker
When I moved to my new apartment it was in pristine condition, however after just 2 weeks the hall carpet was almost black. I have a big ol carpet shampooer very heavy. I wanted something light weight and easy to use and something that could restore the carpet to its original condition.
Bissell carpet cleaner
Works very well. I have a pale beige/cream carpet and two cats. Accidents happen, but this cleaner makes my carpet look new. A little bulky, but after all, it is a full size cleaner. Water tank and soiled water tank are a good size.
Jury still out on this
I used to have a full size version of this product. Loved it but had more carpet space to clean at that time. Now, years later decided to buy this model. Read the reviews, saw that a lot of people said the water had to be dumped and refilled too often. Since I have a small carpet space to clean in each room, thought it would not be a problem.
