What is the soil in wool rugs?
More than 75% of all soil found in wool rugs is particulate matter and it gets buried deep into millions of tiny pockets called fiber cuticles. If not removed, particulate matter will reduce the useful life of your Oriental carpet. The abrasive damage caused to hardwood floors by sand is similar to in destructive nature as dust and particulates are to wool and silk fibers.
Can They Be Cleaned at Home?
Area rugs often have lots of dust and dirt in them. It takes aggressive shaking or agitation to remove it all.
How Long Does it Take?
From pickup to delivery, it takes a week at most. Three business days is typical.
