Had fun working here. People were nice and management friendly. There were some slow days where time went by slowly. Always fun to hang out with friends after work.
Poor management
Management was very casual and vague about what the job was going to be like. Their resources are inadequate-- training was 100% online and on a dinosaur computer. A nightmare and there was nobody to answer my questions. Basically just sit down be quiet and do it. I barely completed training. Everyone that works there is over 70 years old.
This company no longer exist
The job was fun while it lasted but I was let go when I needed to put school ahead of work. You will also get in trouble if you don’t make for credit card sales a day
A Dying Company
Sears is a zombie of a company. While in the distant past it was a might retailer, the 1900s version of Amazon today, they are not much more than a failing retail chain in many dying malls. I had a good experience with the people i worked with, but I was never invested in the job.
Poor life work balance
I was hired knowing there would be some OT however I was not advised that the job came first and you could work 12 hours a day waiving breaks and lunches. It is good for someone who does like mechanical work, travel through your area and good pay. The PTO policy is confusing and essentially keeps you from taking PTO for over a year.
Great place to work, wonderful Co workers and management
Very great place to learn and advance. Was promoted after only 4 months. The store manager was eager to answer my questions and put me on track for promotion.
Poor company Management, No idea how to save this national brand company
This company has very poor upper management and they have no idea what they are doing. Company is almost out the door. CEO is making himself rich every day and selling off company piece by piece. I wish there was a federal law that what a CEO is allow to do. CEO needs to go to a management school to learn how to manage a multi million company.
